Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone,today is my mum's birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY! I'm not gonna tell everyone how old she's turning coz if I did she will smack me on my head...LOL! just kidding! Age is her big secret(shh!!) I'm not sure why,every time I ask her she just say cause she doesn't like people to know her age so I guess the term age is the woman's biggest secret is true.But anyway on this special day of hers,I personally baked her a birthday cake (cheese-her favourite)
and I took a lot of effort to make a cake for my mum,even I'm sick yesterday i manage to walk to the store(which is 1 1/2 miles - 2 miles away from home) to get the ingredients for the cake and its all worth it coz its her special day =) I LOVE YOU MUMMY!

Later on today I'm going for another part-time job interview (wish me luck!) and tomorrow will be my first day of work at Macy,I'm not gonna lie I'm a little nervous but I guess it happens to probably most of us when it comes to the first of work...RIGHT! other then work I've been studying hard too (more about it later) and hopefully I will pass the test...GAMBATEH!!! (it means all the best,you can do it)

OK I'm gonna have to stop here =( gotta get going to the interview (don't wanna be late) and do a little shopping for my mum's birthday tonight.Will keep posted when i get a chance =D Stay cool!!!

My week!

Hi everyone!sorry haven't been posting anything new on the blog due to a internet connection =( gotta use the internet at the library).For the past week,it has been a really hot day temp up to 115F spend a few days by the pool and going swimming (relaxing) AWESOME! I also been spending my time at the car mechanic (its not easy to find a good,honest and a fair price mechanic especially us women/ladies) and today..gotta get my baby fix and i probably will end up being here all day.Anyway enough of the unfair mechanic places and the awesome pool =P

My friends and myself went to catch a show here in Vegas its called Mesmerize:hypnosis unleashed.Its a really funny show the audience are actually the performers,audience actually volunteer to participate to get hypnotize and do really funny things,the best part is they have no idea what they were doing until they get home and watch the DVD.I give it two thumbs up!*Its appropriate for ages 21 or older*

I also went to a new job orientation and training, as usual training and orientation is boring and I thought they would provide meal in another word feed me LUNCH!DINNER! coz most places here do but unfortunately they don't/did not =( but HEY! at least they hire me and gave me
a opportunity to work for them even tough I don't have experience.God Bless!!

Well that's all from me right now,my baby is almost done and its time for me to head to the library to get some study done!As for all of you,if your weather is cold there stay warm and your weather is like here HOT stay cool (like by next to the pool or in the pool) =D

Hello from the Las Vegas Strip

Hi Everyone,

Today after I finished studying (I will explain more about that later), I decided to do a little sight seeing and enjoy the weather. Unfortunately, the temp here was 111 degrees, that's very hot! But it's OK, I had fun anyway.

After leaving the library I had breakfast at a nice American restaurant called IHOP. Which is short for the International House of Pancakes. Not bad, I must admit. The eggs were good and I truly enjoy pancakes.

Then I went over to yet another lake within the city of Las Vegas (who knew there was so much water here?)and watched the ducks attempt to stay cool.

Afterwards I headed to the famous Las Vegas Strip. I stopped by a few stores at the Fashion Show Mall and besides people watching I shot a short video for you guys. I promise to have it up for your viewing within the next few days.

Welcome to My Blog, "Yoked in Las Vegas"

Hi,

I am Yook. I recently came to the U.S. from Malaysia. This is a very big Country and its very beautiful. It will take me awhile to get oriented here but I will do my best. I started this blog so that you can follow me on my journey from becoming a visitor here to becoming a citizen.

I will update this blog often, my plan is to do it everyday. However, if I become busy I promise that it will be updated at least twice a week. I will have photos to show you of my travels and experiences here.
